六圣. 5月3日，博纳旺蒂尔大学的学生们加入了西班牙国家荣誉协会西格玛德尔塔派的西德尔塔分会.

入会仪式由分会顾问Dr. 利一. 西蒙，世界语言和文化研究助理教授. 

成立于1919年, Sigma Delta Pi是世界上最大的国际外语协会，拥有540多个分会，也是唯一一个专门为四年制大学西班牙语学生服务的荣誉协会.

The mission of the honor society is to honor those who attain excellence in the study of the Spanish language and in the study of the literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking peoples; to encourage college and university students to acquire a greater interest in and a deeper understanding of Hispanic culture; and to foster friendly relations and mutual respect between the nations of Hispanic speech and those of English speech.

Sigma Delta Pi的新成员是来自Carmel的Mary Esposito, 东阿默斯特的格蕾丝·梅斯, 海德公园的Erik Stauderman, 拜伦的利亚·盖尔, 杰斐逊的摩根·肯尼迪, 以及克莱默的埃丽卡·古斯塔夫森.
